Football Bet of the Day: Go to Girona for goals tonight

A shock in Brazil last night, but not an unpleasant one. Bottom-of-the-table Atletico GO turned over Botafogo on their own patch, and their 2-1 success is a win for us too.

We've crept into profit for the week and fancy a trip to Spain for tonight's La Liga game might put us squarely into the black. New boys Girona are on a winning streak of three and up to 10th, just a couple of points behind tonight's visitors, seventh-placed Real Sociedad. In each of those three wins, the score was 2-1 and we fancy they've got another Over 2.5 Goals coming today.

Pablo Machin's hosts have actually seen Over 2.5 Goals in each of the last six rounds of La Liga. Since a 3-0 defeat to Barcelona, they've struck 10 times in five and should find ways through a Sociedad defence that, home and away, has managed just three clean sheets in 25.
