Football Bet of the Day: Goals to flow in Scandinavia

Our Cork City bet fell flat yesterday evening, as the Rebel Army were made to wait until the 89th minute for the only goal of their match with Bohemians.

Today we're headed north to Scandinavia, where we've dug out a few games from the Swedish second tier. After six attempts this season, Gefle are yet to keep a clean sheet in a Superettan home game. Johann Mjallby's men have scored in 5/6, however, and we're pleasantly surprised to see Over 2.5 Goals trading at evens for this evening's visit of Osters.

When Osters visited Gavlevallen last term, they lost 1-3. So far this season, Christian Jardler's men have been struggling just a little. After finishing fifth last year, they're now down in 10th. Nonetheless, they've found the back of the net in 5/6 away games and we fancy they can contribute towards Over 2.5 Goals today. At the other end, they've conceded three times on each of their most recent two road trips, so we're hopeful that Gefle too - who are currently second bottom of the 16-team league - can help this one over the line.
