Tobias Gourlay fancies Cork City to maintain their perfect home record against Bohemians tonight

Cork City v Bohemians
Friday 19:45

At the time of writing, yesterday's bet is still a live one. Hopefully it was the perfect digestif to an opening game for all time in Russia.

Friday takes us to the other side of the Irish Sea, where the FA of Ireland has bravely sent a round of Premier League games into direct competition with Portugal-Spain. Our pick from these five plucky underdogs is Cork City versus Bohemians.

As you might remember from two weeks ago, league leaders Cork have been rather good at Turners Cross this season. Having now also beaten Waterford 3-0 and Derry 4-2, the Rebel Army's home record stands at W10-D0-L0. John Caulfield's men are short-priced favourites to beat seventh-placed Bohemians this evening, of course, so we're concentrating on the Half Time/Full Time market.

Cork have been ahead at the break in each of their most recent three home wins. Bohemians, meanwhile, have conceded before half time in 7/8 away games. Under Keith Long this season, they have lost 4/4 visiting teams now in the top four. We're backing Cork to be winning at half-time and full-time - just like they have been in two previous head-to-heads this term.
