Football Bet of the Day: Celta pride to be dented by Eibar

Two goals in two second-half minutes did for us in the Netherlands yesterday. They did for Achilles 29 too, as they went down 2-1 at home to FC Oss.

Saturday takes us to Spain, where 11th-placed Eibar entertain eighth-placed Celta Vigo in the afternoon La Liga game that serves as the aperitif to this evening's Madrid derby.

The hosts are W11-D6-L7 at Ipurua since Jose Luis Mendilibar took charge and we fancy them to improve that decent record against some weakened visitors.

This term, Mendilibar's men have won 3/5 at home, scoring twice in each of the last three. We fancy they'll have too much firepower for a Celta team that's conceded eight times in its last two road games.

For this trip to the Basque Country, Eduardo Berizzo's men are missing their two most potent attacking forces (Iago Aspas - no, really - and Fabian Orellana). Given that leaky defence, we don't see them keeping up with their in-form hosts.
