Football Bet of the Day: Dijon look hot for goals again

The party went off in Portugal yesterday as Guimaraes ended a long run of away losses and thrashed Tondela 4-1.

We're hoping for a big finish to the week in France, where another couple of mid-table teams have the potential to cut loose. A couple of weeks ago we went to Dijon and came away with an Over 3.5 Goals winner. We're going back in for another one today.

Visitors Guingamp won the reverse fixture 4-0 and two meetings last season (Dijon's first campaign back in the top flight) also delivered Over 3.5 Goals. More recently, Antoine Kombouare's men have scored at least twice in each of Ligue 1's last five rounds. Their most recent four games have each delivered Over 3.5 Goals, including a pair of 2-2 draws on the road.

At the Gaston Gerard, Olivier Dall'Oglio's Dijon have struck twice or more in 8/11. Six of those 11 have ended up Over 3.5 Goals. Neither side has much to play for in this one (it's 13th versus 11th) so the shackles are off and we're backing the Mustards to cut right through the goals line once more.
