In the end, it was a helluva time for just one team in in southern Sweden yesterday. Helsingborgs 0 Brommapojkarna 4 means we're heading across the Atlantic in search of calmer waters.

Since the turn of the millennium, Trinidad & Tobago have lost World Cup qualifiers 2-0, 4-0 and 3-0 in Costa Rica. We fancy them to lose with a bit to spare in San Jose again tonight.

Costa Rica were held to a goalless draw in their last outing there, but had previously won 10 straight home qualifiers. In seven of those successes, the margin of victory was at least two goals.

Since last autumn, T&T have lost 3/3 on their travels in this campaign, going down with at least a goal to spare against the USA (twice) and Honduras. Costa Rica can put themselves into that exalted company by returning to winning ways tonight.
