A one-sided result in Spain's great-15-years-ago-not-so-much-today derby wasn't what Kev needed yesterday. A 3-0 win for Valencia over Deportivo La Coruna means we've got something to avenge as we take on La Liga today.

The Monday-night game brings 12th-placed Las Palmas all the way from Gran Canaria to the northwestern province of Galicia. It's a long journey, and the Canary Islanders have not been great travellers this season. In fact, they haven't won on the road since the opening day, going W0-D3-L9 since then.

Eleventh-placed Celta Vigo have won 3/4 in all competitions recently. On their last Liga appearance at Balaidos, they lost 1-0 to sixth-placed Villarreal, but have usually been too strong sides from the lower reaches of the table.

Since an opening-day defeat to Leganes, Eduardo Berizzo's men have won 7/7 hosting teams now 10th or below, and we're jumping on the even-money price about them making it 8/8 this evening.
