Tobias Gourlay's hoping the Eagles can land a bet for him in Portugal this afternoon
Benfica v Rio Ave
Sunday 17:30
The Lions versus the Red Horses promised to be a bloody Attenborough documentary, but turned out to be nothing of the sort. Bnei Sakhin and Beitar Jerusalem drew 0-0 in Israel last night, which means we could really use a win to finish the first week of 2019.
We're hoping to find it in Portugal. Benfica are down in fourth after a defeat on the road earlier this week. Both teams scored in each of their two meetings with Rio Ave last season and we fancy the same could happen when the pair meet at the Stadium of Light today.
There have been goals at both ends in each of Rio Ave's last six road games, including a 1-2 loss at top-of-the-table Porto and a 1-1 draw at third-placed Braga.
Rui Vitoria's Benfica won their last home game 6-2 against Braga. They've scored 10 times across their last two appearances on home turf, but conceded five times in their last three. We like the odds-against price on both teams finding the back of the net this afternoon.
