Atletico Madrid v Real Sociedad
Tuesday 19:00 (Live on Sky Sports 5)
Jagiellonia Bialystock 2 Wisla Krakow 2 in Poland yesterday. Which means our mood is as bright as the weather.
In further good news, there's an extra midweek round of La Liga this week.
On Saturday Atletico Madrid won 2-0 at Cordoba. Home and away, it was their 13th win in 20 league games. In all 13 of those wins, the margin of victory has been at least two goals.
At the Vicente Calderon, the record is 11 wins in 13 games and all 11 by at least a couple of goals.
Real Sociedad arrive in the capital missing both of their usual centrebacks.
David Moyes has dragged the Basques into the top half - recently he even helped them win a first away game of the season - but, now that they're safe, they have little left to play for.
And their record at top-six sides is appalling. This season, they've lost 4/4 previous trips to La Liga's best, going down by two goals or more in 3/4 and conceding four times at both Real Madrid and Villarreal.
It's not Moyes' fault, of course, but last season they went W0-D1-L5 on the road to the top six, with 4/5 defeats by more than just the odd goal.
Football Form Labs data shows that, since returning to La Liga in 2010, Sociedad are an overall W4-D3-L16 at top-six finishers, with 10/16 defeats not by the narrowest of margins.
