"Abelardo Fernandez's home side have conceded themselves in 7/9 at Mendizorrotza"
The Frogs descend on Alaves tonight and Tobias Gourlay's expecting to be entertained
Alaves v Levante
Monday 20:00
An eventful afternoon in Spain yesterday as 10-man Sevilla recovered from 0-2 down to salvage a draw against Eibar with goals in the 88th and 91st minutes. It wasn't enough to save Kev's bet but the Spaniards have shown that his teams are still playing or him. He's no Maurizio Sarri.
Our week begins where Kev's just wrapped. The final match of La Liga round 23 takes place in the Basque Country, where seventh-placed Alaves host 14th-placed Levante. Earlier this season, Levante won the reverse fixture 2-1 and we fancy both teams can score again tonight.
Hosts Alaves are favourites and should find ways through a Levante defence that has conceded in 9/10 on the road. Indeed, the visitors have leaked at least two goals in 4/5 away from home - most recently shipping five at Sevilla.
At the other end, Abelardo Fernandez's home side have conceded themselves in 7/9 at Mendizorrotza. Levante have recently been shut out by top-four sides Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, but had scored in seven straight away games prior to that. We fancy the Frogs to hop to it again this evening and land us a BTTS winner to start the week.
