"Sirius have scored only 16 times on their 12 away days, but been beaten just twice. That's because they're conceding at a league-best rate of 0.92 GPG"
There's a largely unimportant game in the Swedish second tier this evening, but the price on goals has got Tobias Gourlay excited
AFC Utd v Sirius
Monday 17:00
There was a last hurrah from Kevin yesterday as Steaua Bucharest cruised to victory in Romania. They were two up by half-time which means he rides off into the sunset on the back of a three-game winning streak.
With five rounds of the 30-game Superettan season to go, Sirius are third in the table, but very unlikely to catch league-leading Jonkopings, who are nine points ahead of them. With an eight-point cushion between them and fourth-placed Varberg, Ozcan Melkemichel's Blue Blacks aren't going anywhere.
So far this term, their away games have been tight affairs - more than half have been drawn - and we expect no special effort from them to break that trend on Monday evening. Sirius have scored only 16 times on their 12 away days, but been beaten just twice. That's because they're conceding at a league-best rate of 0.92 GPG. Nine of the 12 games ended with Under 2.5 Goals in total.
Sirius' hosts tonight are ninth-placed AFC United, who have a slightly disappointing W4-D3-L5 home record this season. Looking pretty safe in mid-table, we're not expecting any fireworks from Kim Bergstrand's men either.
Both teams have scored in only one of the last seven Superettan games at Skytteholms IP and we think the market's a little too ambitious in expecting at least three goals today.
