England Squad Betting - Winks and Keane look value
Mark Stinchcombe: Harry Winks at 18/1 is a big price to make Gareth Southgate's Euro 2020 squad. It does look like there's a spot up for grabs in the midfield so, if Winks starts playing for Spurs, then he has a chance and should be nearer 6/1.
In defence Michael Keane is 15/2. He has 12 caps under Southgate and, after John Stones' mistake last night, there could be a place up for grabs. This is definitely a market worth keeping an eye on.
Kevin Hatchard: Italy 12.011/1 are an interesting one. They're playing like a team under Roberto Mancini.
Mark O'Haire: I like Italy too. Roberto Mancini has made them disciplined and pragmatic. Italy are a tournament team. They're also a threat at set-pieces and they have an above average coach which is not something you can say about all of the teams in this competition.
KH: Germany 9.89/1 lost at home to North Macedonia and don't look capable of winning Euro 2020.
MO: At Euro 2020 Germany are playing for second place in Group H with Portugal and France. As for who I like in the outright betting, we still don't know where these matches are taking place, due to Covid-19. That will be very important.
France 6.86/1 are the standout team for me with frightening depth in their squad. Portugal 10.519/2 are looking good too.
MS: Southgate is too negative and I am crossing off favourites England 6.411/2 from my list of teams to back. They still lack the game management skills to see out victory in big games.
I don't rate Belgium 7.613/2 under Roberto Martinez. Eden Hazard's injury problems also put me off. I'm also not interested in the Netherlands at 14.5.
Premier League Tips - Opportunity knocks for Arsenal?
Arsenal v Liverpool
MS: There's no way I can back Arsenal at 3.259/4. Fabinho's return to the team is massive for Liverpool. If I was have at bet it would be Liverpool -0.25 goals but I'm not getting involved.
MO: I think there are signs that Arsenal are moving in the right direction. There is an opportunity for Mikel Arteta's team to exploit a Liverpool side that's still weak at the back. Arsenal +0.5 goals at 1.758/11 is my bet.
Leicester City v Manchester City
MS: I'm going to use Bet Builder to back Man City to win and under 4.5 goals at around 1.804/5. We've seen a lot of low-scoring Man City wins and this could be another.
Chelsea v West Brom
MS: If Chelsea don't concede then we're looking at around a 2-0 scoreline here. West Brom are ultra-defensive against the top teams. Chelsea and under 3.5 goals at around 1.84/5.
Manchester United v Brighton
MO: Brighton can be competitive at Old Trafford. But they have lost 15 of 20 games against top six finishers. I expected United to win - they have won their last seven in the league at home - and will use Bet Builder to back them with under 4.5 goals at 1.855/6. United to win by exactly one goal would be a good bet at a bigger price.
Newcastle v Tottenham
MS: It's difficult for Newcastle to score, especially without Allan Saint-Maximin. Can Spurs break the deadlock? Son will probably be missing but with Gareth Bale and possibly Dele Alli coming in they should have enough. I'll use the Bet Builder to back Tottenham and under 4.5 goals at 1.84/5. This would have landed in 11 of Spurs' last 12 wins.
Wolves v West Ham
MO: West Ham rarely lose to teams outside of the big six - it's happened just once this season. I'll back West Ham +0 at 1.855/6.
Ligue 1 Tips - PSG's chance to pull away?
MO: The absence of Marco Verratti for PSG against Lille. That said, I do wonder if Lille can handle the pressure in this Ligue 1 title race. PSG's experience will probably tell but Lille will make it difficult. I expect a low-scoring match so I will back under 2.5 goals at 1.9520/21.
MO: New manager Jorge Sampaoli has given Marseille impetus. I will back them -1 at 1.910/11 against Dijon this weekend.
Bundesliga Tips - Can Leipzig take their chance?
MS: In Leverkusen v Schalke the new manager bounce could work for the hosts under Hannes Wolf. Schalke's performance data is continuing to fall off a cliff and they are there for the taking. I'm backing Leverkusen -1.75 on the Asian Handicap 1.834/5.
KH: Bayern Munich will be without the injured Robert Lewandowski for their trip to RB Leipzig. The draw is a runner at 3.8514/5. Leipzig gave Bayern a real scare in the 3-3 draw in Munich earlier this season. But Leipzig are missing players too and have a psychological hurdle to get over against Bayern.
MO: I hold out hope for Leipzig but Bayern's price has been inflated by Lewandowski's injury. The draw is a big price at 3.8514/5 and I think Bayern will be happy with a point.
MS: With Lewandowski out I'm leaning towards under 3.5 goals. If you want to side with Leipzig then back them to win the Bundesliga. Lewandowski will be out for a month.
Serie A - Back Genoa with Bet Builder
MO: Genoa have been keeping things very tight. They are a good price to beat a Fiorentina team that have won just twice away from home. I want Genoa double chance and Genoa to score on the bet builder at 1.834/5.
