Tip #1- Strasbourg to win @ 4/91.44

Strasbourg v Metz
Sunday 18th January
Kick off: 14:00
Ligue 1

Gary O'Neil takes charge of his second game as Strasbourg manager, having already seen his team win 6-0 against lower league opponents in the Coupe de France. Metz may as well be lower league opponents with how poor they've been in Ligue 1 this season, so O'Neil has had quite a favourable start to his stint in charge of the BlueCo owned club.

Liam Rosenior left Strasbourg in a decent position with the club sitting just outside of the European spots. They've won five of their eight home games in Ligue 1 this term, notably only conceding four goals across these games - the joint best home defensive record in the division.

Metz sit rock bottom of Ligue 1 and have only won three of their 17 matches in the French top flight this term. They've conceded more goals than any other side (38), with 28 of these goals being conceded across their nine away matches (3.11 per game). This lack of stability at the back should offer enough promise to Strasbourg to get over the line here.

Tip #2- Atletico Madrid to win @ 3/101.30

Atletico Madrid v Alaves
Sunday 18th January
Kick off: 15:15
LaLiga

Atletico Madrid could face a battle to keep their Champions League spot if they aren't careful, with Diego Simeone's side being closely tracked by Espanyol at the moment. Atletico haven't quite been able to keep pace with Barcelona and Real Madrid this term, but have been one of the best sides in the Spanish top flight this season when putting the title race to one side.

Atletico Madrid have always been a difficult side to beat at home and this season hasn't been any different, with Diego Simeone yet to see his side lose at home in LaLiga this term. Atletico Madrid have won eight of their nine matches at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, netting 22 goals across these matches and conceding just seven goals - only Barcelona (5) and Real Madrid (6) have conceded fewer goals at home this term than Atletico.

Alaves' away record in LaLiga this term is really poor, with just one win from their nine away matches in the Spanish top flight. They've only scored four goals across these games, so it's hard to see how they will trouble one of the best defensive home sides in the division. Only Osasuna (3) have scored fewer goals on the road than Alaves this season, suggesting that this will be an uphill task.

Tip #3- Aston Villa to win @ 8/131.61

Aston Villa v Everton
Sunday 18th January
Kick off: 16:30
Premier League

Unai Emery's side are one of the strongest sides in the Premier League at home, with only Man City (26) and Arsenal (29) picking up more points at home this season than Aston Villa (25). Villa have won eight of their 10 home matches at Villa Park this term, with only Newcastle and Crystal Palace managing to take points off of them at home.

Emery's side have scored 18 goals across these matches, and only conceded eight. This tightness at the back is likely to prove problematic for Everton, who have only managed to score nine goals across their 10 away matches in the Premier League this term. Everton's recent form has also been quite poor, with their only win across their last five matches coming against relegation threatened Nottingham Forest.

Everton have lost on their last four trips to Villa Park in the Premier League, with the Toffees losing 3-2 in this fixture last season. They have managed to win at Villa Park in the EFL Cup in this period, though that clash saw both sides heavily rotate, and we can expect Villa to have a near full strength side here.

Tip #4- AC Milan to win @ 1/41.25

AC Milan v Lecce
Sunday 18th January
Kick off: 19:45
Serie A

AC Milan claimed an important 3-1 win over Como during the week to keep them in the title race. That was a significant victory as it was the first defeat that Como have suffered at home all season, showing just how impressive the side that Allegri has pulled together is.

AC Milan now find themselves three points behind their city rivals in the race for the Scudetto, and this weekend has the look of another defining one in the Italian title race. The two Milan sides are joined in the race by Napoli and Juventus - though either could find themselves cut too far adrift if results don't go their way this weekend.

Milan have lost just one of their 10 home games in Serie A this term, indicating that this will be a near impossible task for a Lecce side who are hovering just outside of the relegation zone - and have won just two of their nine away matches in Serie A this term. They've only scored six goals across these matches, so finding the back of the net against Milan is likely to prove difficult.

Milan beat Lecce with ease in the most recent clash between the two, with Allegri's side coming away 3-0 winners back in September. That triumph was in the Coppa Italia, with Milan also winning to nil in the most recent league clash between the sides.
