Things are looking scarily straight-forward for Republic of Ireland, who tend to be at their best when fighting the tide. Victories in Andorra and at home to overachieving Armenia (who unlike every other Group B side they beat in Yerevan) will secure at least a play-off place, and potentially top spot.
The Boys in Green have failed to qualify for the last four international tournaments, missing out from positions of strength on several of those occasions, but are huge 1.11/10 favourites to pass the first leg of this crucial double header away to Andorra.
