Newcastle are yet to concede a goal this season, following a 2-0 home win and a 0-0 draw at Brighton last weekend.

They face a much tougher test today with Manchester City in town, but I don't see this being a high-scoring affair.

Pep Guardiola's men are good at containing teams, and they won 2-0 at West Ham in their opening away match. Expect something similar at St James' Park.

Atleti to down the Yellow Submarine

Bet 2: Back Atletico Madrid @ 20/23 - KO 18:30 BST

Atletico Madrid scored an impressive 3-0 away win to kick off their La Liga campaign, and I feel that they are a shade overpriced to beat Villarreal at home this evening.

The visitors also won 3-0 away from home in their first league match, and they won 4-2 in the UEFA Conference League during the week.

That could be a slight negative factor here given that the hosts had the week off, and the Yellow Submarine haven't beaten Diego Simeone's men since 2018.

Champs to flex their muscles again

Bet 3: Back PSG @ 1/2 - KO 19:45 BST

PSG have banged in 10 goals across their opening two Ligue One fixtures, and while there is still a sense of un-organisation at the club, they should be able to beat Lille tonight.

Paulo Fonseca's hosts beat Auxerre 4-1, before drawing 1-1 at Nantes last time. They only finished in mid-table last term though, and while they should do better this time around, they will pick up their points against teams other than PSG.
