Bet 1: Back Preston 13/10 - KO 15:00 GMT
Preston returned from the World Cup break in great fashion last weekend as they beat their Lancashire rivals, Blackburn, 4-1 at Ewood Park.
QPR's miserable run recommenced on their return, as they lost 3-0 at home to Burnley. It was their fourth straight defeat, and they are now winless in six.
Neil Critchley takes charge for the first time today, with the former Blackpool manager replacing the exiting, Michael Beale.
Despite it being likely that the players will rouse themselves to impress their new manager, a trip to Deepdale should prove too hard for them on this occasion.
Bet 2: Back Burnley @ 1/1 - KO 15:00 GMT
Michael Carrick has won four of his six matches in charge of Middlesbrough, including last weekend's return against Luton.
Burnley are the league leaders though, with Vincent Kompany's men having won seven of their last eight in all competitions.
They continued their good form with a 3-0 win at Loftus Road last Sunday, and they have won six on the bounce at Turf Moor - scoring 16 goals in the process.
Bet 3: Back Coventry @ 29/20 - KO 15:00 GMT
The World Cup came just at the wrong time for the Sky Blues, as they had won four in a row, to climb into mid-table.
Their return at Reading was underwhelming - they lost 1-0 - but they have a good fixture here, at home to Swansea, and I think they can get back on track.
The visitors are in 11th place, but they are winless in six, and on the road it's two points from their last possible 15. Coventry, meanwhile, have won their last three to nil in front of their own fans.
