Group D remains wide open
Qualification for the last-16 of the Champions League is up for grabs when Sporting Lisbon host Eintracht Frankfurt.
Group D is the only group in which no team has yet qualified for the knockout stages. Only two points separate fourth placed Marseille and the leaders Spurs, who play in the other fixture. Between them are third placed Eintracht Frankfurt and Sporting, who currently occupy the second qualification spot.
Sporting won the reverse fixture 3-0 and came close to claiming a win away at Tottenham last week, which would have confirmed their qualification for the last-16. They have performed extremely well in the Champions League, with their only defeats coming in the two matches against Marseille, which both saw them reduced to 10-men early on.
They are not faring so well domestically, with a rotated side losing 1-0 at Arouca over the weekend, leaving Sporting fifth in the Primeira Liga.
Eintracht Frankfurt lost 2-1 at home to Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, ending a run of four consecutive wins. Oliver Glasner's side are now fifth in the Bundesliga.
Germans need a win
Sporting Lisbon are the favourites at 2.466/4, with Eintracht Frankfurt at 3.185/40 and the draw at 3.613/5.
If it seems like a big price for Sporting given that they have home advantage, bear in mind that a draw would be enough for them to progress to the last-16. Nothing less than a victory will do for Eintracht Frankfurt, so we should see an open game.
After keeping clean sheets in their first two group games, Sporting have conceded seven goals in their last three. A Bet Builder double of both teams to score and over 2.5 goals is 1.9210/11.
