Betfair's 90 Minute Payout came to the rescue for a Betfair punter who won almost £9K from a £10 stake on Tuesday night's football.
They backed nine teams in the Champions League, Premier League and EFL matches and saw their bet saved by Betfair's new season offer.
Eight were winners outright but, had it not been for the 90 Minute Payout, the bet would have been killed by PSV Eindhoven's 95th minute equaliser at Sevilla.
Fortunatley, the bettor had backed Sevilla using the 90 Minute Payout so the bet stood and another big winner was celebrating.
Pompey late goal wins Betfair punter £4.5K
Another Betfair punter was the beneficiary of a late goal on Tuesday night with their winning 11-fold that returned over £4.5K from a £6.50 stake.
Again, thid bettors had wagers in the Champions League and EFL. Real Madrid's dramatic 3-2 win over Napoli got things on track on the continent.
Closer to home wins for Championship tabletoppers Ipswich, as well as Southampton and West Brom among others, meant things were looking good.
But the bet was in peril when Portsmouth, who the punter had backed to win, went into added time drawing 1-1 with Wycombe. But then Conor Shaughnessy 98th minute goal got Pompey the win and meant the bet was a winner.
With another night of Champions League and EFL football in store on Wednesday, let's hope there are more Big Winners on Betfair.
