Liam Livingstone: The lack of communication from McCullum and Key was poor
I'm at the same place I was at a year ago with England. Brendon McCullum texted me after my interview in March. He said: "Sorry to hear how you feel but I might not tell you what you want to hear."
My issue was never with Baz. I just said thanks and I said maybe that conversation should have happened last summer...
The way that it all unfolded, I just wanted communication... If they had rang me and said we don't want anything to do with you anymore, at least I know. I complained because I didn't know what was going on. I got told eight days before my contract was up that I wasn't getting one...
I think it's Rob Key's job to stay in contact with the players. It's for him to say: "This is why you've been dropped and this is what you need to do to get in the side."
Let the players know where they are.
Liam Livingstone: I hope to play for England again
I would hope I have a chance of playing for England again. All I did was an interview and it was my story of how I feel. I didn't lie or fabricate anything. I played for England for six years, if you told me that growing up, I would have snapped your hand off for that.
I've had a great England career. There's a career ahead of me. The only way to do it is by batting for Lancashire and getting a load of runs. My schedule is so busy and to add more cricket to my schedule, it would help my T20 cricket if I batted in the middle, but I haven't done that.
Lancashire want me to play four-day cricket, but I don't know what I'll do yet.
Liam Livingstone: England won't change approach against NZ
I don't think England will change their approach. They'll be better at going towards the danger and staying aggressive. The players will have to be better at it.
The fun of international cricket is the pressure. You're a showman in the middle. That's the cool part of it; you can show your skills off to the world and the pressure can be a good thing.
It will be a good series against New Zealand; they have some great players.
