Eight start this race at Folkestone and there are two outstanding candidates but who do Timeform suggest our money should be on?
swaleheating.com HANDICAP (4)
What Katie Did is enjoying a purple patch at present and should go well once more, but Our Piccadilly made an encouraging reappearance at Windsor and, from a better draw, can reverse the placings with Efistorm.
Efistorm has dropped markedly in the weights prior to winning in good style at Windsor last time. He is Closely matched with Our Piccadilly on that running and has sound claims here
Ocean Blaze is a front-runner who isn't on a bad mark on the pick of her efforts last season, and comes from a stable going well. Her wide draw is not ideal though and there may be other days for her.
Our Piccadilly landed a gamble at Goodwood in September and posted a good effort subsequently at Nottingham. She is still unexposed over this trip, ran a good second on her reappearance and is well drawn this time. She is a leading contender.
After The Show won three times on turf last year and comes here on the back of some creditable placed efforts on the all-weather. His hold-up style of racing is possibly not ideal at this track though
Hereford Boy has a modest strike rate and posted a disappointing effort at Windsor (behind a couple of these) last time.
What Do You Know is a front runner who returns to action 6-lb lower than when winning at Newmarket last May. He is entitled to come on for his first run since October.
What Katie Did has won his last three starts, taking advantage of lower turf mark at Windsor last time (runner-up won since). A 5-lb rise is fair enough, the shorter trip is no problem and he has leading claims once more.
Princess Rose Anne is consistent at up to seven-furlongs. She was back to winning ways at Bath last time but is up against better opposition here.

This looks a good opportunity for Vertigo On Course, a fast-finishing third at Southwell last week. Young Dottie's success last month is working out well and she also makes appeal, while each-way players could do worse than side with Toolentidhaar....
