Perfect Star has been a shade disappointing this year but she's got much the best form in the book and it may be worth giving her another chance down in grade. Farley Star and First City could be the ones to chase her home.
"Perfect Star has kept good company this year without convincing she's as good as she was in 2008. She takes a fair drop in class now, though, and that could see her back in the winners' enclosure."
strong>Dixey is a free-going sort who needs to be left alone in front to be seen to best effect. That's unlikely to happen here, while she's yet to convince she stays this far, anyway.
Farley Star had been largely consistent for Roger Charlton, winning two handicaps in the summer of 2008. She has a long absence to overcome here, but the booking of Ryan Moore suggests her new connections mean business.
Multiplication has been put in her place since making all from a modest field at Warwick on her return. She should ensure there's a battle for the lead, but has no chance of still being there at the finish.

First City has been highly tried this year, running consistently in the main, and like Perfect Star she should appreciate the drop in grade. That one has the better form, however.
Moonlife made most when runner-up in a Newmarket Group 3 at last year. She produced a creditable effort in a listed event at York on her reappearance, but went out like a light at Royal Ascot and has not been seen since. Tongue tied now.
