Timeform run the rule over the field for the Staverton Wealth Management Ltd Handicap.
This looks competitive for the grade. Sir Michael Stoute is in cracking form and Mirrored looked one to follow when scoring on polytrack at Kempton last month. Proven on good to firm going, he can follow up here. Gaily Noble lost no caste in defeat when fifth at Newmarket last time (fourth won at Ascot on Saturday) and could be the one for the forecast. Royal Executioner should go well, too.
Gaily Noble made a good start to his career on the all-weather this winter and proved his effectiveness on turf when runner-up to Dubai Crest at Beverley over ten-furlongs. He posted a good effort over this trip in a hot race at Newmarket last time and must be respected.
Roly Boy achieved a useful level of form in nurseries subsequent to landing a seven-furlong maiden on the all-weather at Kempton last term. He is just beginning to look exposed now, judged on his two starts this term and is tried in blinkers now.
Mirrored failed to win in three starts as a two year old, but made a winning return on his handicap bow when beating Charlotte Point by one-and-a- quarter lengths on the all weather at Lingfield. A 6-lb rise does not look harsh and he should have more to offer.
Royal Executioner had strong two-year-old form when with Peter Chapple-Hyam and got off the mark in a one-mile maiden at Lingfield last month. He posted a good effort in a handicap at Kempton subsequently. He handles fast ground and merits plenty of respect.
Maxwell Hawke was well backed when facing a tall order on debut on his only start as a two-year old. He attracted support again and landed a seven-furlong maiden on his return here last month. More is needed here, but he is open to improvement.
Inheritor posted some good efforts on his first four starts on fast ground, including when scoring at Beverley over seven-furlongs. He was not so good on his final two starts in nurseries, on easier surfaces, and has been gelded since. He may need the run.
Mister Dee Bee showed plenty as a two-year-old and displayed determination when making all to repel his rivals in a fast-ground Ripon maiden on his return. The form was nothing special, but he is on a fair mark and could go well.
Yellow Printer was progressive in maidens as a two-year-old and posted a sound effort when third to Roar Of Applause on good to firm ground at Chepstow last time. He was thirteen lengths behind Mirrored at Kempton last month, though, and has work to do.
Geneva Geyser won a six-furlong all-weather maiden at Great Leighs in December. He still looked green when fifth of eight on his handicap bow at Lingfield. He was tailed off on turf at Newcastle last month and blinkers are applied here.
