Ten go to post for this handicap chase open to four-year-olds and upwards over three-and-a-quarter miles.
The most interesting runner is Tim Vaughan's Little Shilling, who completed a four-times over hurdles within the space of a fortnight when winning at Fakenham on Monday. He hasn't convinced with his jumping over fences previously but has been revitalised by the move to his new trainer and almost certainly remains capable of better over the bigger obstacles.
Alan Fleming's Nagam was well ridden by Johnny Farrelly when beating Iris's Prince a neck in a handicap chase at Fontwell on his reappearance, and the two are reunited here. Nagam is an inconsistent type however, so there have to be doubts about whether he can reproduce that effort here, albeit with the headgear left off for a second successive start.
Kiltimoney was a creditable second to Tradingup in a conditional jockeys event at Chepstow on his return but was unable to build on that effort when the saddle slipped next time. He was let down by his jumping at Towcester last time, for all that he didn't seem to be in top form on the day, but should be suited by the forecast ground conditions.
Peter Bowen's Amoreigh recorded his best effort for a long time when beaten a neck by Fourpointone in a four-finisher event at Warwick last time. He seemed to prove more effective for the return to softer ground and kept on well for pressure despite being less than fluent at the final two fences.
Peveril Pride has been in the frame both of his completed starts over fences this season but is a sketchy jumper, as he showed when falling heavily at Chepstow last time and is one to treat with caution.
Of the remainder, Change Agent has been off for over eight months and may need the run, whilst Solid As A Rock has been below his best on both starts this season since returning from an absence of nearly two years.
