Most of these should do better at this sort of trip. Headline Act has already won over a mile-and-a-half, while Kings Destiny is just the type his yard does well with. He's taken to make it two from two in handicaps, perhaps at the expense of Jedi, who could be a force to be reckoned with in handicaps over staying distances this year.
Kings Destiny is progressing well and showed a good attitude when winning narrowly at Leicester last month (two subsequent winners, including Headline Act, behind). He is bred to relish this further step up in trip.
Kimberley Downs caught the eye on debut and has improved to win both starts since at Wolverhampton, rallying well to get up on the line for his latest success. He is bred to come into his own over middle distances.
Quai D'Orsay was most impressive when winning a mile maiden on heavy ground at Hamilton on his debut. He struggled to keep tabs with Kite Wood in stronger company at Ascot, but is bred to stay this far and there should be more to come.
Headline Act is getting better all the time and ran out an impressive winner of a mile-and-a-half handicap at Kempton last time, when not extended to go clear. He remains in the Derby and is the type to go on improving.
Jedi is from an excellent family and this further step up in trip should see him in a much better light, he shaped that way when fifth at Sandown on his return. He should be all the better for that and is a leading player.
Braveheart Move belied large market odds when getting off the mark in a seven-furlong maiden at Wolverhampton in September, seeming well suited by the strong pace. He is in good hands and will do even better now upped in trip.
Fol Liam was bought for twenty-six thousand guineas after winning a six-furlong seller on his debut but he has not built on solid efforts on first two starts for his present yard and it was a lifeless run he posted over a mile-and-a-quarter on return.
Rumble of Thunder proved consistent in half a dozen runs as a juvenile, he was placed in nurseries around a mile. He raced freely when slightly below form on his reappearance and much more is needed here.
Digger Derek was successful in two nurseries over seven furlongs / one mile last October but has not returned in the same form and a further step up in trip will need to bring about some improvement if he's to get involved here.
Citizenship posted an improved effort to land a Wolverhampton handicap in February. He was too keen behind Kings Destiny and Headline Act at Leicester last time, but may still do better.
