Timeform run the rule over the Dine In The Horizons Restaurant Handicap (Class 4).
The vast majority of the attention at this time is rightly on National Hunt racing, though the status of all-weather continues to rise year on year, as highlighted by listed races on successive weekends at Lingfield and Kempton respectively, and this staying handicap is as competitive as anything the jumps has to offer.
Master At Arms: Successful here in August (by six lengths from Swords) and has enhanced excellent record at the track when second twice since, his defeat by Keenes Day last time a career-best effort. Should give another good account.
Bank On Benny: Better than ever this year and, following win here two weeks ago on final outing for Eric McNamara, recorded a very good second to thriving Turban Heights at Great Leighs on first start back with this stable. Should be thereabouts turned out quickly so long as cheekpieces work as well as a visor has.
Calculating: Hit the ground running early this year, winning three times, including here, but not in the same form of late. Chance a month-long break will revive him, though.
Inchpast: Mark reflects the fact he's not the force he was and successful on two of his three starts here, but not the most reliable nowadays.
Dayia: Has shown plenty of promise in maiden company, seems sure to be suited by this step up to in trip and potentially well-in judged on her bumper form, so improved showing looks on the cards.
Augustus John: Yard going well and down to a very favourable mark, but hasn't been shaping as if he's as good as he was and longer trip another doubt.
Victory Quest: Has nine wins to his name at Southwell, but latest third here belatedly proved he's as good on polytrack. Looks handicapped up to the hilt, however.
Roman Villa: Better known as a jumper, and an ungenuine one at that, and couldn't recommend with any confidence.
Spider Silk: Won maiden at Windsor in July and ran creditably in handicaps next two outings, but isn't straightforward and ran poorly at Great Leighs last time. Something to prove now.
Sir Sandicliffe: Successful at Catterick in October and is reliable, but an infrequent winner overall who needs things to drop right ridden as he is (held up) and makes more appeal for place-only purposes.
L'Homme de Nuit: From a yard with few peers when it comes to placing their horses and opened account in Britain here last time. Cheekpieces worn then retained, but did seem all out come the finish and chance rests on return to this trip provoking more improvement having gone up 5 lb.
Swords: Successful three times here and once at Southwell this year, but ran badly after more than a month off on penultimate start and wasn't enough in his run here last time to suggest he's about to bounce back to his best.
