Charlie Tipple finished a good second off this mark at Haydock in June. Solid claims on that with no trip/ground worries, but reliability the primary concern with him following two dismal runs since.

Capucci is fairly consistent despite his quirks, proving competitive off similar marks this summer. However, this trip the longest he has tackled and may not last home in these testing conditions.

Faithful Ruler improved when back in the winning groove over 8.6f at Wolverhampton in March. Good effort on return from a break on turf last time and should be bang in the firing line.

Casino Night gained a deserved success when coming through late to win over 9f in the mud at Hamilton earlier this month. Matched that in defeat back there last time and reliability will count for plenty here.

Doon Haymer landed a gamble when beating Casino Night under similar conditions at Hamilton in July, but below that level last twice and cheekpieces need to revive his fortunes.

Shy Glance came back to winning ways off a 2 lb lower mark over 10f on fast ground here in June, but run poorly since, including here yesterday.

Keisha Kayleigh was a facile winner of a 10f fast-ground Newcastle seller in June. Good efforts when tackling handicaps 2 of 3 starts since and every chance if things drop right here.
