Timeform run the rule over the field for the Rose Bowl Stakes...

The well-bred Showcasing has found only Arcano too good in two forays to date and is unlikely to meet anything of his calibre this time. Walkingonthemoon and Avonrose are best of the rest on form.

Duplicity has shown ability in both starts in seven furlong maidens, finishing second at Warwick on his latest start, but a drop to six furlongs needs to bring plenty of improvement if he's to cut it at this level.

Gumnd is a non-runner

Hearts Of Fire won a 19-runner minor event at Doncaster on debut and has put in sound efforts the last twice, including when fifth at Royal Ascot on his latest start. This is his first try beyond five furlongs here and he has a bit to find on the book.

Royal Desert has one win from five starts, but was easily brushed aside on his sole try at listed level and there is nothing to suggest it won't be a similar story this time.

Showcasing got close to subsequent Group winner Arcano here on debut (raced worked out well) and made no mistake himself at Yarmouth subsequently. He is a smart prospect and the one to beat.

Walkingonthemoon made a winning debut on soft going here in April and put in his best effort when a close second in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom last time. He has been off for six weeks since but is a tough opponent if on his game.

Avonrose was an impressive winner of a maiden at Redcar before being put in her place in a listed event at Cork and by Rose Blossom at Haydock. She is probably chasing place money.

Deal got off the mark at the third time of asking in a maiden at Warwick last month, but was held in a listed event since and will do well to be in the mix.
