Timeform Daily: Charity Day Handicap Chase, Thursday October 8, 15:35, Wincanton

Warren Greatrex has his first runner with Free World and it could be a winning one as this seven-y-o should take to chasing if his looks are any guide. Vial de Kerdec did well over fences in the summer, while Eljay's Boy is another to consider in a race where few can be fancied, says Timeform.

Nesnaas took advantage of a drop in the weights when scoring twice at Market Rasen in July. He's been well held since though and others now look better handicapped.

Free World was a fair maiden hurdler at up to three miles for Carl Llewellyn in 2008. He's a chasing type on looks and an interesting contender tackling fences for first time, particularly as he's also the first runner for his trainer.

Orphelin Collonges has one or two respectable runs over fences to his name but has generally failed to come up to scratch in the jumping department, and he was well held on return from break at Sedgefield last week.

Ours got his act together jumping-wise last year, rattling up a hat-trick before Christmas. He's looked one with problems this term, however, his second at Bangor in July being his only good run of 2009/10.

Vial de Kerdec left hurdles form well behind with back-to-back handicap wins at Plumpton in April. Was a good third from much higher mark when last seen in June and may still have more to offer over fences.

Wizard of Edge gained a fourth course win when successful here in December but capitulated quickly on three subsequent starts last season so hard to know what to expect after seven months off.

I'm A Legend was progressive in handicap hurdles last term, winning twice, but has failed to build on the promise of Leicester fourth over fences, often running as if he has some kind of physical problem.

Eljay's Boy has been lightly raced in recent seasons but has shaped better than the bare result on a couple of occasions. He often finishes weakly but is certainly handicapped to go close now.

Morstead took advantage of a much-reduced mark when scoring at Plumpton last month, avoiding usual mistakes. He's never been one to rely on, however, and a moody display at Hexham next time just about sums him up.

Roussea Back is below last winning mark and did perform better than of late when third at Fontwell last time. He's getting increasingly unpredictable nowadays, though, so couldn't be relied upon to build on that.
