Falcativ looked one to follow when winning on his reappearance at Yarmouth last Monday. Sent off odds-on, he had no trouble beating Sgt Schultz off what was an unsuitably slow pace. He will be amongst the leading contenders for the likes of the Duke of Edinburgh and the Old Newton Cup, and rightly so. He is in the right hands (Luca Cumani) to continue his progression and is definitely worth keeping on side wherever he turns up next.
