Well, it's official, I am in my worst run of form for two years, with no winners yesterday. When your luck is out you do start to question your approach and in my case I have even tried to think if I have somehow had a curse placed on me! My personal losses have been spared by very small staking and that is exactly what I advise at this time of year, it really is all about the jumps from here forward, with the exception of top class Flat cards such as this weekend.

I am playing it safe today and if the selection is not a winner then something is seriously wrong and I will be reaching for the book of good luck charms this evening.

Kieron Fallon will be aboard Michael bell's Sariska in the Champion Stakes on Saturday going up against Fame and Glory and a host of other top class horses. He could warm up with a winner for the stable in the shape of Horseradish (16:10) who should make it third time lucky in this maiden, after two second place finishes on his last two outings. With Fallon in the saddle and quality opposition somewhat thin on the ground there should be no excuses. Horseradish should provide a very welcome winner.
