Black Endeavour did this column a favour last week on Town Moor and his chief victim, Come On Over, might endorse that form by gaining some compensation in this handicap.
That performance behind Mark Rimell's winner was verging on a career best for the son of Kodiac who was closing in on the line without quite managing to overhaul the well-ridden winner.
The negative with Come On Over's chance is that he remains a maiden after 11 starts and has already been through a number of yards following his 200,000gns purchase as a yearling by Amo Racing.
However, he has posted two tidy performances a Doncaster last month and could be ready to strike for a team among the winners in the last fortnight, successes which included a Group 1 triumph at the Curragh over the weekend.

Trainer Billy McCreery is dual handed in this low-grade handicap and both Happy Henry and Steel Magnolia look worthy of a tilt at prices.
Recent Naas winner Platino Bianco could well be to the forefront in the market for this event but the two selections, behind Conor Maxwell's mare last time, may well reverse the placings back at a venue they have found suitable in the past.
Happy Henry travelled like a dream in a similar course and distance handicap to this back in April and, although he couldn't get it done that day, he gained some reward for a series of consistent efforts on his penultimate start at Naas.
Hopefully, he can carry forward that form to this handicap with regular rider Leigh Roche on board.

Steel Magnolia arguably has a slightly higher head carriage than would be ideal, but a reapplication of the visor and the return of Declan McDonogh in the saddle could give the daughter of Coulsty bright claims of posting another big course performance.
The selection ran well under an inexperienced rider at Naas last week when a place behind her stablemate despite a low draw which saw her race away from the first three home down the middle of the track.
She is arguably drawn a little wider than ideal here, but the handicap here in April where she was a creditable fourth (a place ahead of Happy Henry) was won by Alnofoor who was berthed in gate 16 so high numbers aren't necessarily inconvenienced.
