There's a slight concern that Doctor Fremantle's flighty nature will get the better of him as he goes back up in trip here, but he'll be the one to beat if Ryan Moore can harness his energy. Campanologist will be dangerous if Dettori is able to dictate from the front again, while Enroller has done nothing but improve and also deserves respect.
Bronze Cannon seemed to raise his game when winning the three-runner Jockey Club Stakes from Casual Conquest on his latest start. The runner-up was below form that day, though, and he probably has plenty on his plate under a penalty here.
Campanologist is a consistent performer who received a good ride when beating Conduit at Royal Ascot in 2008, making all. He should strip fitter for his recent outing and chance he'll again get his own way up front.
Dansant is a reliable performer who has racked up a host of listed race successes on the all-weather in recent seasons. It remains to be seen if he's the same force back on turf, but he has a chance if he is.
Doctor Fremantle was fourth in last year's Derby and attracted strong support when scrambling home on his reappearance at Chester in May. The return to this trip will suit, provided he doesn't pull too hard.
Enroller made good progress through the ranks last year, winning twice, and looked better than ever when landing a Group 3 at Newbury on his return. This looks more a test of speed, but he is not to be underestimated.
Illustrious Blue is an admirable campaigner who has done the bulk of his winning at Goodwood. He ran well when third to Mad Rush there a fortnight ago, but his losing run is beginning to mount up and he will do well to end it here.
Steele Tango looked better than ever this spring, running well in Group 3s at Newmarket and Sandown. He produced only a fair effort on his previous try at this trip behind Duncan here on his penultimate start, though.
Tajaaweed (pictured) looked a fine prospect when landing a Group 3 at Chester on his first start as a three-year-old but he has failed to make good on that promise in three subsequent outings and still has to prove he stays this trip.
Barshiba is not the most reliable, but she was rewarded for some good efforts in Group races when landing a listed event at Newmarket in 2008. She is yet to sparkle this term and is an unknown quantity at this distance.
