Workforce and So You Think are set to clash again.
The latest news on Sunday's mile-and-a-half Group 1 at Longchamp...
A total of fourteen horses remain in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe after Wednesday's second forfeit stage, including long-term favourite Sarafina ([4.8]), So You Think, ([5.1]) and Workforce ([8.8]).
Trainer Aidan O'Brien still has four entered, including St Nicholas Abbey ([40.0]), Treasure Beach ([44.0]) and Seville as well as So You Think, who is likely to be his first-string. The Ballydoyle trainer took Wonder of Wonders and Regent Street out of the race.
Others to be withdrawn were Godolphin's Casamento, with last year's Racing Post Trophy winner now likely to head to the Champion Stakes at Ascot (currently [28.0]), whilst 2010 St Leger winner Arctic Cosmos and the David Wachman-trained Giant Step were also taken out.
The supplementary stage ends tomorrow, with John Gosden's Nathaniel still needing to be entered. One who will definitely be there is the German-trained Danedream, who has been confirmed for Sunday's after connections said they would supplement the three year-old filly.
Also on Wednesday, 21 horses remain possibles for the Prix de l'Abbaye, including a sizeable British and Irish contingent . Nunthorpe winner Margot Did ([7.0]), 2010 Nunthorpe victor Sole Power ([15.0]) and Kings Stand scorer Prohibit ([5.5]) all remain entered, as does the French filly Moonlight Cloud, although it is thought more likely that she will be heading to the Champions Sprint at Ascot on Champions Day.
