Bucks trade rumours continue

There continues to be trade rumours around the Bucks. This time it is Bradley Beal. It is not hard to see why after coming up short in the past couple of years. With the current roster it is hard to believe that much will be different. Jrue Holiday is a nice addition but it is hard to believe he will be enough to take them over the edge.

But what they do well is win regular season games. They roll through teams like this Pelicans and they can do so again. Giannis Antetokounmpo is playing his usual, dominant basketball and there is every chance they will end the season as the first seed in the Eastern Conference again. They have the number one scoring offence in the league, as well as a top 10 defence. They should have more than enough to handle New Orleans.

Pelicans need to take a step up

The Pelicans continue to be up and down, but that should be expected from such a young team. They pleated very well, particularly on defence against Washington last time out to end a three game losing streak. They will need to step up their scoring though if they are going to overcome Giannis and the Bucks. They have the 22nd ranked scoring offence in the league and that just isn't going to get it done, even with a repeat of Wednesday night's defensive performance.

To take a step up they really need more from players other than Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. Those two are stars in the making, but they aren't ready to carry a team just yet. Lonzo Ball is questionable for this game with an ankle injury and that just makes it even harder.

Bucks take care of business

These are the games that the Bucks take care of. A struggling team that they just outmatch both defensively and offensively. I don't see how the Pelicans stay in this one for too long and it could be a big margin by the end of it.
