Mardy Bum didn't beat a rival on her first two starts, but showed more on her final qualifying run at Wetherby last month, even though she still failed to settle in a first-time hood, though she wasn't knocked about.
She improved further on her nursery debut over five furlongs at this course last time despite a slow start and having too much to do.
Mardy Bum's performance that day can be marked up further by her closing sectional - she has the Sectional Flag - and she strongly left the impression she's ready for this return to six furlongs. She appeals as a well-handicapped filly racing from the same mark and this isn't a strong contest.

Campeona is out of a smart mare and looks like a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver following her handicap debut over an extended 11 furlongs at this course on her return a fortnight ago.
She showed just modest form in three starts over shorter last season, but she was strong in the market on her return, and duly showed much improved form.
Campeona led briefly over a furlong out, but she had no answer for an even more progressive rival in the closing stages. She did pull clear of the remainder, though, and by a sire who stamps plenty of stamina into his progeny, she is expected to take another big step forward over this longer trip.

Probation has a good pedigree - out of an unraced sister to Irish Oaks winner Chicquita - and he's made gradual improvement in three starts this year.
The form of those races isn't bad, either, especially his run at Windsor in May, and he ran his best race when gambled on in heavy ground at Lingfield last month.
He just stayed on at the one pace on that occasion, so this step up in trip will suit both on run style and pedigree, and he may have been let into handicaps lightly from a mark of 70. This three-runner race doesn't look deep and his apprentice rider claiming 7lb is full value for it - he has the Jockey Uplift Flag.
