Likedbymike recorded a good figure when opening her account on her final two-year-old start at Cork in 2024 and, while she struggled for consistency last season, she has one or two strong pieces of form.
She bumped into a very progressive sort back at Cork and showed similar form when placed at Naas next time and Likedbymike shaped quite a bit better than her finishing position suggests on her return at this course earlier this month.
That was over six furlongs in heavy ground and she travelled like the best horse at the weights, looking a big threat entering the final furlong - she traded at 1.87 in running on Betfair - before the lack of a recent run seemingly told, losing several places close home.
Her jockey wasn't had on her, though, and that run will surely have brought her forward. The return to five furlongs looks a good move, while slightly better ground should suit, too. The handicapper has left her on the same mark and she will be a force to be reckoned with if taking the anticipated step forward.

It's an interesting renewal of the Alleged Stakes with Twain returning from an absence. He remarkably won a the Group 1 Criterium International just eight days after making a winning debut as a two-year-old, so he has plenty of class, but the question marks are the trip and if he's ready to roll after an absence.
It is therefore sensible to side with the form choice and that is the Karl Burke-trained Royal Rhyme, who is a smart horse on his day and has a good record when fresh.
He won the Brigadier Gerard on his return in 2024 and he went on to be beaten less than three lengths in the Irish Champion Stakes and Champion Stakes later that year.
Royal Rhyme ran to form when third in the Group 1 Prix Ganay at Longchamp on his return last season prior to just a respectable run in the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup at this course when last seen. This represents a drop in class for him now and, representing an in-form yard, he looks a solid bet.

Red Charlie was just a fair maiden for Emmet Mullins, but he showed much improved form at the first time of asking for this yard when winning over this course and distance with any amount in hand last month.
He proved a totally different proposition after 16 months off, cruising into contention and settling the race in a matter of strides, soon moving clear in the final furlong.
The handicapper didn't miss that performance, raising him 15lb in the weights, but he's been given plenty of time to get over that success, and he could yet improve further for this yard, still only a four-year-old after all.
