York, 13.55 - Back Frankies Dream @ 13/27.50
Having won his first race off a mark of 50, Frankies Dream has made remarkable improvement in the 18 months that have ensued.
Now rated 81, the selection has posted three excellent efforts on the Knavesmire, including when runner-up to the very well supported Point Of Contact over nine furlongs.
This slight step back in trip should favour a horse that races enthusiastically which is the reason he sports the hood with connections keen, no pun intended, for him to drop his head.
His exuberance hasn't halted his progression though and the prospect of a strongly run mile should be ideal for him to showcase his skills.

York, 14.25 - Back Fortification @ 9/25.50
There can't be a strong enough pace for Fortification to run at given he has hit the line strongly a number of times at York, over both five and six furlongs, this season.
The selection hasn't always been the most favourably drawn in his races, but has rattled home in the style of an improving sprinter on a number of occasions and he is reunited with Ben Robinson who was on board earlier in the season when the son of Mehmas obliged by 40/1.
He is again situated a little higher than ideal in stall 11, but there is pace drawn around him to ensure he gains a good toe into the race and he ought to be on the scene again.

York, 14.25 - Back Schrodinger's Cat each-way @ 17/29.50
Did last week's Redcar victory for Schrodinger's Cat really happen even if we weren't there to witness it - the handicapper clearly believes so!
The son of Ardad was raised 8lb for the success which looked a little harsh, but the manner of the victory also suggested that a rating of 82 wholly underestimated the ability of the selection.
Those critics of the selection would point to two York defeats off marks in the low 80s, but he was poorly drawn on the first of those occasions and ran really well when third on the second outing.
Schrodinger's Cat looked a horse on the upgrade last week and double-figure quotes are arguably a shade too big.

Windsor, 17.15 - Back Buckland Belle @ SP
Buckland Belle was a non runner on unsuitable ground at Ffos Las during the week, which was a little confusing considering she has run well on both an easy and fast surface in recent times.
Whatever the reason, connections have found a similarly winnable handicap at the Thames venue, a track where she has already run to a very decent level this term.
Her win over course and distance last month (at the expense of subsequent winner Mertoun) has worked out exceptionally well and she was far from disgraced when beaten under the same circumstances on an easier surface last time.
Maybe her handler felt she wasn't as well suited when the rains came three weeks ago, but today's event looks a great opportunity with the booking of talented apprentice Conor Whiteley another positive.
