Betfair tipster Sam Turner singles out a stayer to back at Bangor on Wednesday...

Bangor, 16.00 - Back Betterforeveryone each-way @ 4/15.00

There seems to be a perception among some punters that Alan King's days as a National Hunt trainer are numbered.

Admittedly, the Barbury Castle handler has less jumpers at his disposal than a decade ago, but that has been a concious decision with his Wiltshire yard now set up to train predominantly flat horses.

King has earned close to seven million in prize money across both codes in the last five years, not a bad haul for a trainer some perceive to be on the way out and he may add to that figure courtesy of Betterforeveryone who bids to go one better in a race in which he was third 12 months ago.

The nine-year-old's campaign looks to have been geared around going two better in the marathon handicap as he hasn't been seen since November when a creditable fourth in a staying contest at Uttoxeter.

The lack of a run should be no issue for the selection given both of his two previous Bangor wins came following absences of 187 and 228 days and he is also very versatile when it comes to ground conditions.

Bangor, 16.30 - Back Jaitroplaclasse @ 11/26.50

Two previous trips to the north Wales venue have yet to yield a victory for Jaitroplaclasse, but it could be a case of third time lucky in this 0-100 handicap chase.

Trainer Robbie Llewellyn struck with another winner at the weekend when The Gray Ghost obliged at Newcastle and the selection ran respectably, if unspectacularly, on very deep ground at Taunton behind Palawan Du Mazet on his latest start so looks to be holding his form reasonably well.

The third-home, Falco Des Pins, has won since to endorse the form and there have been two other individual winners from the Ludlow event which finished behind Jaitroplaclasse when he was third back in January.

The seven-year-old's two best career wins have come when he has been returned to the track after 20 days, so a 22-day absence should hopefully see him at his best here.
