Last weekend saw Team Ditcheat come away with a superb five winners across the two days at Musselburgh and he will be hoping for much of the same on Saturday.
Hitman is one of his star runners this weekend in the Grade 1 Betfair Denman Chase where he was well fancied last year.
Paul said: "He definitely needed the run the other day at Cheltenham and will improve for that.
"I am just trying to get a few runs into him before he runs in the Ryanair. He ran in this race last year and was really fancied.
"The plan is to run here and then go to the Ryanair in a months time."

Makinyourmindup will love the ground
Makinyourmindup is one of the standout chances for Team Ditcheat at Newbury in the 15:50 Novices' handicap Chase with plenty going for him on Saturday.
Paul added: "Definitely going back left handed that's what he needs, he has had a bit of time since his last run at Leicester where he was second to Apple Away.
"All the rain will have suited him because he doesn't want quick ground, he has a nice chance."
Histrionic and Roman Roy interesting in the bumper
Histrionic and Roman Roy both run in the 16:25 at Newbury and Paul said:
"Roman Roy ran very nicely at Wincanton and the form of that race has worked out quite nicely.
"Histrionic actually ran a very nice race the first time and just needed it. He will run well.
"I just have a feeling he is going to turn out to be a 2m4f novice hurdler with a good summer and will improve whatever he does (in bumpers).
