In what is an open looking renewal of the Kerry National it might be worth siding with Gordon Elliot and Jack Kennedy with Nowwhatdoyouthink. This 7 year old had his first start for Elliot in the Galway Plate finishing 4^th back in July, and is sure to have improved for that outing as he bcomes more familiar with Cullentra.

He is one of few in the field that has proper graded form in the book, and the extra 2 furlongs will prove no issue here. He is ground versatile and can travel close to the pace which often favours around Listowel.

Plenty of the Galway Plate field reoppose here, but I think the selection is the one open to the most improvement from that run.

A 2m4 Bumper which was won by promising young stayer Apache Tribe last year. I think this can go the way of Young Doran for Philip Rothwell and Adam Ryan who claims a very valuable 5 pounds. This horse has started life off over hurdles and a reproduction his debut effort behind Tinto De Verano should be more than good enough here.

He slightly disappointed in Downpatrick but he had a 10 week break and I just wonder if he had a small setback that meant he wasn't 100% on the day. He was very weak in the betting just before the off.

Tom Cooper will no doubt have had a big red circle around this race for his horse New Grange, but he looked well beaten when the leader jinked and unseated in his P2P and might just be overestimated on the back of what looks like a comfortable 24 length win.
