Making his first appearance for James Moffatt since leaving the Joseph O'Brien yard, Cossack Chach is one to note under Charlotte Jones at Haydock.
Whilst he may improve plenty for his first run following a 416-day break, he has run well when fresh in the past, only narrowly denied by now 154-rated Wodhooh in a three-year-old hurdle at Down Royal a couple of years ago.
He had previously won his maiden hurdle at Killarney, and went on to finish sixth to Kala Conti in a Grade Two juvenile hurdle at Leopardstown.
When last seen, the son of Churchill landed success over fences, shaping with plenty of potential as a chaser late on. He subsequently changed hands for £36,000, and must defy top weight if he is to make a successful start for his new connections.
A mark of 129 could be workable enough for an unexposed, lightly-raced performer, however, and he warrants each-way consideration at odds of 20/121.00.

Returning from a 266-day break, Good Look Charm represents an in-form Anthony Honeyball yard and could be capable of making another successful reappearance having won first time out in both of her previous two campaigns.
This is usually the time to catch the mare on a going day as she is seen to best effect on her return to action, and she's on a workable mark under the in-form Rex Dingle, too, only 2lb above her previous win but without the 10lb claim of Chad Bament.
The freshness angle should allow her to put in a bold bid as she attempts to land a sixth career success, and she finished third in a higher class contest from the same mark at Cheltenham a couple of years ago, when outrunning odds of 18/119.00 to make the frame. She also finished fourth in both of her subsequent starts that season in tough handicaps at Kempton and Sandown. when rated 117.
The likeable mare holds a strong chance from a workable mark at odds of 9/110.00.

On the back of a wind operation and making his first start for Dan Skelton, Kabral Du Mathan makes the most appeal in this field. He has been consistent throughout his six-race career so far, achieving form figures of 111222, with two of his wins and three placed efforts, including a narrow defeat in the Scottish Champion Hurdle, for former trainer Paul Nicholls.
There's plenty of substance to his form, with good efforts behind Fiercely Proud and Secret Squirrel creditable performances, and from only 1lb higher than his latest effort, he holds solid claims at the weights. This is only his seventh run, and he's capable of showing further progression.
The five-year-old is the one to beat in this field, and could prove tough to pass under Harry Skelton.

Two runners make appeal against the field in the Betfair Stayers' Handicap Hurdle, the first of which is defending champion Shoot First for Charles Byrnes.
The course-and-distance winner was impressive in testing conditions in last year's renewal, pulling away from runner-up One Big Bang in good fashion to win well. He showed plenty of guts and determination that time, and, with proven course form in this race in his favour, cannot be discounted and warrants respect.
Whilst conditions are unlikely to be as testing this time around, and his subsequent efforts haven't been as impressive, the lightly-raced nine-year-old could put in another bold bid as he attempts to retain his title in the valuable handicap. He's 6lb higher rated with 7lb claimer Benjamin Macey on rather than 5lb claimer Alex Harvey, and still makes appeal at the weights in only his 13th career start.
One to note, Shoot First holds strong each-way claims in this competitive contest and may be seen staying on well late on once again.

Ten-year-old gelding Red Risk is another to consider in the field, making each-way appeal at a big price for Paul Nicholls.
The son of No Risk At All, who makes his 34th career start, once finished second to Botox Has in a Wetherby Grade Two and is only 3lb higher than his latest win at Uttoxeter in March. He has been competitive from a similar mark in the past and could be capable of posing a threat under 7lb claimer Freddie Keighley.
Red Risk has proven stamina and is on a workable mark of 140, making him one to note each-way at a price of 33/134.00.

A big-priced outsider from the Willie Mullins yard, Winter Fog could outrun his odds of 33/134.00 under Harry Cobden, higher rated than many of his shorter-priced rivals and having shown snippets of good form in recent seasons.
The eleven-year-old has been seen chasing home the likes of State Man and Brighterdaysahead in Ireland, and finished third at odds of 150/1151.00 in a dramatic renewal of the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival this year. He also finished fourth to Teahupoo in the Grade One Punchestown Champion Stayers' Hurdle in May, before finishing fifth to Jesse Evans in a Tipperary Grade Three over the summer.
A winner on the Flat at Tramore since, the experienced veteran is no forlorn hope for a dangerous combination who have a 67 percent strike-rate when teaming up together in Britain.

In an intriguing renewal of the Betfair Chase, last year's runner-up Grey Dawning is the one to beat. He has an extra year of experience in his favour and the ground will likely be less testing than twelve months ago, which should give him the upper hand over hat-trick seeking veteran Royale Pagaille.
The reigning champion warrants plenty of respect and has the capabilities to put in a bold bid on ground that may not ideally suit, however, Grey Dawning is capable of showing some further improvement and is 7lb clear on ratings.
The Dan Skelton-trained grey does face stiff opposition and some unexposed types who could pose a threat, but they have to find further improvement to match the level by the Grade One winner who has plenty in his favour as he bids to go one place better this year to land the prestigious prize.
