Likeable gelding Glenfinnan is only 1lb higher than his latest win in his penultimate start at Beverley, and remains well treated at the weights having won from a much higher mark in the past. Effective over 7f, he's largely unexposed over this mile trip but his latest win came over only half-a-furlong shorter and he should cope with this step up in distance.
The six-year-old didn't run his race at York behind Extremely Zain recently, but he could bounce back in the hands of Connor Beasley with a hood re-applied for the first time in almost three years.

Six-year-old mare Enola Grey is returning from a 117-day break in this competitive mile contest, but shouldn't be discounted on that basis for Gemma Tutty and could be capable of outrunning her odds. She's a likeable performer who has been competitive from a similar rating in the past and has shown form on the Turf although she's usually seen to best effect on the all-weather.
The daughter of Havana Grey put in an excellent effort behind Ziggy's Queen at Lingfield when last seen in February, beaten only a length-and-a-quarter at odds of 16/117.00 on that occasion. She has run in tough races previously and has plenty of valuable experience in her favour which should hold her to good stead in this contest.

Five-year-old gelding Inappropriate makes his first appearance for trianer Ewan Whillans in this 1m3f contest. He could be dangerous from a mark of 75 under Rowan Scott considering he finished second in a higher class handicap at Newcastle earlier this year when trained by Jedd O'Keeffe from a 1lb higher rating.
The son of Churchill has plenty of Flat form including winning form over a similar distance. The addition of first-time headgear has seen him to good effect in the past and the introduction of cheekpieces, along with the re-application of a tongue-tie, could spark enough improvement to see him to good effect.

From a mark of 55 with 7lb claiming jockey Darragh O'Sullivan in the plate, Polar Bear could put in a bold bid in familiar surroundings. He wasn't able to be competitive at Fairyhouse when last seen but had previously run well in his first three starts of the campaign, including when third at Navan in April.
The course winner is winless in over two years but has put in a number of creditable efforts in handicap company since his latest success, including from a mark 30lb higher. He has shown he retains enough ability to pose a threat at this level from his current rating and higher, therefore may be worth keeping the faith in for Jessica Harrington as he bids for a long-awaited return to the winners' enclosure.

Another course winner who warrants consideration in this hugely competitive 5f sprint handicap is Hero Of The Hour. The William Delahunty-trained gelding is 3lb below his last win and has put in a number of good performances since then, mostly on the all-weather at Dundalk.
The experienced nine-year-old, who makes his 59th career start, is on a workable rating and finished a decent fourth at Fairyhouse on his Turf return recently. He could take a step forward for the run as he drops down to the minimum distance over which he is proven, and he may be worth keeping onside each-way under Luke McAteer.

Completely unexposed coming into this Group Three contest, Rebel Moon has been seen only once when successful in a Gowran Park maiden in April. She won nicely that day, shaping with plenty of promise against some experienced rivals including her third-placed stablemate Johanna Walsh.
Johanna Walsh has since been only narrowly denied in the Ribblesdale Stakes having finished third to Sandringham Stakes winner Green Carrera previously, and also convincingly beat Believed, a close third in the King George V Stakes, to land her maiden at Leopardstown. Cape Primrose, fourth in the contest had previously been narrowly denied by Green Carrera at Thurles and holds an entry in the Irish Oaks.
The Lope De Vega filly is out of Purely Priceless, a Galileo half-sister to multiple black-type achievers including Listed-winning September, who was twice placed at Group One level. Her grand-dam, Peeping Fawn, a half-sister to Group One winner Thewayyouare, enjoyed a brilliant three-year-old campaign which saw her placed in two Classics before winning four consecutive Group One contests, including the Irish Oaks.
From a family stacked with classy performers, there could be plenty of further improvement to come from Rebel Moon as she's bred to be competitive in Stakes company. This could be a nice opportunity for her to land some black-type as she's coming into the race fresh and may be capable of taking a significant step forward from her impressive debut victory.
