Five-year-old gelding Knicks improved for the addition of first-time blinkers when narrowly denied at Musselburgh last September from a 3lb higher mark, and could be capable of improving on his return to action equipped with first-time cheekpieces here. He's 7lb below his last winning mark and has the benefit of a recent run in his favour, putting him in with solid claims in this contest for Mick and David Easterby.
The son of Invincible Spirit was narrowly denied from a rating of 70 on two occasions last year, including over this course-and-distance last spring. He has run well at this venue previously, and could make it fourth time lucky at the track under Joanna Mason.

Unbeaten gelding Le Frimeur has won three from three starts to date, including a point success, and dug deep to beat Came From Nowhere in a Newbury novice last month. He was able to take advantage of a late mistake by the eventual runner-up and was perhaps slightly fortuitous, but showed a good attitude as well as stamina to finish in front.
There should be plenty of further improvement to come from the unexposed five-year-old, who should be suited by this extra distance. He has shaped with plenty of promise and could outrun his odds under JJ Slevin for Harry Derham.

Of Land And Sea was luckless in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival, with the saddle slipping and the jockey losing his irons when already faced with a tough task at odds of 150/1151.00. He's capable of better having previously won well at Limerick, as well as finishing a decent fifth to Tiktok Casey, subsequently third in a Grade Two bumper at the Dublin Racing Festival, in a Naas bumper earlier in the season.
This is only his fifth career start and there could be more to come from the five-year-old son of Crystal Ocean, who has shaped with some potential. He has shown to possess ability and may be able to outrun his odds in this contest.

William Knight-trained Timely Affair has finished a close second in both of his latest two runs when sent off as favourite at Kempton and Southwell respectively. He is now rated 54, 1lb higher than when last seen, with cheekpieces added, which could spark that extra bit of improvement required to finish in front at this level.
Oisin Murphy, who has a good record for the yard, takes the ride as the four-year-old son of Time Test bids to add to his sole career success to date when victorious at the fifth attempt in January. He appears well treated at the weights based on his latest couple of runs, and should be able to pose a threat once again.

Willie Mullins-trained Where's My Jet caught the eye when finishing sixth at the Dublin Racing Festival in February, outrunning odds of 33/134.00 under Brian Hayes, who returns in the saddle. He couldn't make an impression from the rear of the field at the Cheltenham Festival when sent off at odds of 25/126.00 but could be worth keeping onside as he remains capable of showing further improvement in only his eight chase start.
Whilst this is a competitive contest, the seven-year-old is still relatively unexposed in handicap company and could have more to give from his current mark of 130. He's 3lb lower than when putting in a creditable effort at Leopardstown, and shouldn't be discounted as he attempts to get off the mark over the larger obstacles.

Course-and-distance winner Signcastle City failed to run his race in a series final at Southwell when last seen, unable to sustain a finishing effort late on. He has been dropped 2lb since his latest run, now back on his last winning mark of 72, and could be able to bounce back to form in this mile contest.
From a workable mark with course form in his favour, the six-year-old grey makes appeal for Richard Hannon under Joe Leavy, and warrants consideration as he bids for a sixth win. He was able to be competitive from a much higher mark on multiple occasions last year, and it well treated dropping in class here, which should allow him to fare better than in his latest outing.

Glens Anthem impressed to make a successful start in her sole appearance to date at Navan last month. She won by seven-and-a-half-lengths that day, shaping with great potential to win at odds of 9/43.25.
The daughter of Harzand is out of dual Grade One winner Glens Melody, who was unbeaten in three bumper appearances and had previously produced two bumper winners including Shantou's Melody, once fifth to I Am Maximus in a Cheltenham bumper.
Entitled to come on from her debut run, Glens Anthem is an exciting prospect and may prove better than the rest of the field in this contest. She made a significant impression when last seen and could have a bit of star quality about her.
