27-race maiden could finally strike
In an extended two mile handicap hurdle at Clonmel, Itsalonglongroad makes appeal in his first start for David O'Sullivan. He has amassed plenty of experience throughout his career to date, lining up in his 111th race here as he bids for a 12th win.
The 11-year-old veteran was successful over fences at Tramore in August from a mark of 99, and can take advantage of a much lower hurdling mark on his return over timber. He hasn't been seen over hurdles since being sent off as favourite when far from disgraced at the same venue in April, when rated 3lb higher.
From a mark of 89 with 5lb claimer Shane O'Callaghan in the plate, Itsalonglongroad can make his presence felt in this field.

Six-year-old gelding The Bluesman is an interesting contender on debut for Olly Murphy in this extended two-and-a-half-mile handicap chase.
This is his chasing debut under Rules but he has prior point experience when third to now 132-rated chaser Patter Merchant, which should hold him in good stead. Completely unexposed, a rating of 114 could prove lenient on handicap debut, having already shown some ability in bumpers and over hurdles for former trainer Paul Nicholls.
He recorded a 14-length success over the promising Evan Williams-trained Shade Of Winter in a Chepstow bumper last year, before winning a 13-runner maiden hurdle at the same track, prevailing by a length-and-a-half over a couple of subsequent winners including now 122-rated Prophesea.
The £200,000 purchase must defy a 221-day absence and bounce back from a disappointing effort in the spring, but, equipped with a first-time tongue-tie here, he has the scope for plenty of further improvement and could make a successful start over fences under champion jockey Sean Bowen.

Despite being a 27-race maiden, Haveagobeau has shaped with promise on occasion and has shown enough ability to suggest he is more than capable of recording a first career success from his current mark of 47.
The Jim Boyle-trained contender caught the eye when fourth at odds of 66/167.00 at Windsor last year, entering the tracker when beaten only three-lengths from a mark of 46. He caught the eye once again when beaten two-lengths at 100/1101.00 in a subsequent sprint at this venue, and was only narrowly denied a long-awaited victory when beaten a head by Roman Spring at Brighton in September.
He's 2lb higher rated here and without 5lb claiming Jack Dace in the saddle, with Rob Hornby taking the ride, but could prove worth keeping the faith in and stayed on well on his return to a mile here over course-and-distance last month.
This could be Haveagobeau's time to strike, with the yard having recorded two winners from their last two runners with horses at odds of 40/141.00 and 22/123.00 respectively.

Versatile performer The Little Yank should be suited by the return to hurdling here following a fifth-placed effort at Fairyhouse in which he was able to stay on late in the day but failed to pose a threat.
Whilst he can be competitive over fences, the 10-year-old has amassed most of his wins over timber and was able to win for the first time in a while at Kilbeggan last summer. That success came from a mark of 97 with 3lb claimer Liam Quinlan aboard, with The Little Yank able to defy odds of 16/117.00 to return in front.
He has put in a number of good performances since returning to action following a break in May, and, from a mark 3lb below his last win, with 7lb claimer John Aherne aboard, the John Patrick Ryan-trained legend holds strong claims.
