Likeable gelding could strike in Punchestown handicap

Filly is one to note at Market Rasen
Six-year-old gelding Luminous Light was successful on chasing debut last season, narrowly beating Natural Breeze at Clonmel under Sean Flanagan, who is aboard once again.
Although he wasn't as efficient in two following outings over the larger obstacles, he returned to some form when a three-length second to Enjoy The Dream at Tramore during the summer, and can make his presence felt in this field, returning to softer conditions.
The son of Iffraaj, who was bred by Godolphin and won on his Flat debut for Mark Johnston, has shown ability since switching codes, showing some form over hurdles before embarking on his chasing career.
Luminous Light has the ability to make his presence felt in this field and should put in a bold bid. He has coped with softer conditions in the past, placing in a Listed handicap hurdle on heavy, and warrants consideration as he seeks a fifth career success.

Returning to action following a 107-day break, Edward Cawley-trained Dont Go Yet is one to note following an excellent second to Petit Tonnerre in a Listed Punchestown handicap over fences when last seen.
He defied odds of 33/134.00 to make the frame on that occasion under 3lb claiming Philip Donovan from a mark of 122, and could exploit a much lower hurdling mark of 107 on his reappearance.
The experienced eleven-year-old was in good form for most of his previous campaign, predominantly over the larger obstacles, and, although he improved for his first outing over hurdles, he had previously won when fresh and has been able to be competitive over hurdles from a similar rating.
A talented performer on his day, who put in creditable efforts in all of his latest five appearances, Dont Go Yet could prove worth keeping onside and can pose a threat under Philip Byrnes, who partnered him to his latest win.

Six-year-old mare Looking As You Are makes her return to action following a 259-day absence for Alex Hales.
The daughter of Passing Glance has previously run well when fresh, on debut in a Southwell bumper and when second to subsequent Listed-placed Jeune Belle at Huntingdon a couple of years ago. She wasn't seen to best effect on her seasonal reappearance last term, but should be capable of faring better than at Warwick on that occasion and is only 3lb above her last winning mark when successful at Ludlow in February.
Dropping back in distance having been seen over three miles in soft ground in her latest outing, the return to a sharper trip could allow Looking As You Are to be more competitive. She has plenty of form over the minimum distance, but has won over an extended two-and-a-half-miles.
In a couple of starts over a trip further than over which she is proven, Looking As You Are hasn't been quite as competitive, but this assignment should suit and she makes the most appeal from a workable mark.
