Course-and-distance winner Diamond Dreamer finished a decent third to Combustion when last seen at this venue, and should be able to put in a competitive effort from a 1lb lower mark this time around.
The six-year-old gelding is now 2lb lower than his last win at Chelmsford last March, and has been seen to good effect at this time of year in his past two campaigns. Making appeal at the weights with course form in his favour, the son of Oasis Dream is one to note for Patrick Chamings.
In the hands of Sean Levey, he should be able to put in a bold bid in this small field as he seeks a seventh career win.

Eleven-year-old gelding Lake Chad has put in two solid efforts in defeat in recent runs at Tramore and Clonmel respectively, and could be capable of making the frame again from an unchanged mark of 99 with 5lb claimer Niall Moore retaining the ride.
The likeable grey has proven form over the distance and also has winning form at the track, with form figures of 22271 here. He is on a mark from which he can be competitive and should be suited by the softer conditions, too.
One to consider each-way, this veteran has the ability to put in a good effort under his regular rider. He goes well at the track and has been in good form recently, making him one to note.

Another course-and-distance winner to consider on the Lingfield card is Richard Hughes-trained The Thames Boatman. He's only 2lb higher than his last success at this venue but is in a lower class contest this time around, putting him in with solid claims.
With four wins to his name at this venue, The Thames Boatman usually warrants consideration when lining up at the track. He was able to perform with credit in his latest start here too, when only beaten a length-and-a-half by Atomic Force, and is on the same mark of 83 in this race.
Under in-form rider Billy Loughnane, for an in-form yard, there's plenty to like about The Thames Boatman's chances in this race and he could prove tough to beat in his 45th start.

In the penultimate 2m7f contest at Thurles, Money Heist could be capable of putting in an improved effort on his recent runs for Gary McGill. He's 14lb higher than his last winning handicap mark over hurdles, but is only 1lb higher than when winning over fences in his latest win a couple of years ago.
Whilst he's since left Gavin Cromwell's yard and his form is yet to reach the level it once was, Money Heist did put in a competitive performance at Fairyhouse last Easter, finishing second to Drop The Anchor when the 10/34.33 favourite in a competitive 20-runner handicap. He's only 4lb higher here as he bids to return to some form, and, if able to operate to a similar level again, could be able to run well without his usual cheekpieces.

David and Nicola Barron-trained filly Mereside Princess put in a creditable effort behind Dartrey, now rated 21lb higher on a mark of 77, in a Southwell handicap on New Year's Day, with Mademoiselle Belle, a subsequent winner, in second. She hasn't been seen since, but is rated 2lb lower, which could allow her to make the frame once again at the least.
The daughter of Cotai Glory is still seeking a maiden win as she makes her eighth career start. Although she's yet to get off the mark, she has finished third on three occasions, including when beaten only a length-and-a-half by now 60-rated Secret Testimony and now 64-rated Lion Of Mali over this course-and-distance in November.
The three-year-old filly has shown she has enough ability to be competitive and win a race, and, with 3lb claimer William Pyle in the saddle, could be able to finally shed her maiden tag.

Nine-year-old gelding Juan Les Pins wasn't seen to best effect in his latest run at Southwell, but had previously run well when third to Spring Is Sprung over that same course-and-distance. It may be worth forgiving his last outing and, further dropping in class from a 2lb lower mark, this could be a nice opportunity for him to record another career success.
The son of Invincible Spirit is winless since June 2023 when he won from a mark of 91 at Nottingham. He's 17lb lower rated now, having been competitive from a much higher rating over the past year, including when only narrowly denied by Aberama Gold when rated 80 at York last summer, and should be able to pose a threat under Jason Watson.
