Representing Mark Fahey in the hands of 7lb claiming Joseph Harnett, this could be the time for I Bid You Ajou to return to the winners' enclosure on the back of a promising effort behind Headmaster at the Curragh. He finished seventh that day from a 2lb higher mark, but was sticking to the task well late in the closing stages, beaten only two-and-a-quarter-lengths at the line.
The five-year-old is now only 3lb higher than his last winning mark and should be capable of a bold showing from his current rating, making appeal at the weights. He has been in good form in recent outings and can make his presence felt in his 28th appearance.

Four-year-old filly Ruby's Profit was sent off as the 3/14.00 favourite when well supported in a Chester handicap won by Roman Dragon earlier this month. She didn't get the run of the race on the Roodee that day, but these are calmer waters, and, with a more favourable trip, she could prove tough to beat.
Trained by Dr Richard Newland and Jamie Insole, the daughter of Profitable is on an unchanged mark of 87 as she bids for a fourth career win. She is more exposed than some of the younger contenders in the field, but has amassed plenty of valuable experience against tough opponents in her career to date which should hold her in good stead, and has proven form in higher class, competitive contests.

Kevin Ryan-trained Mon Na Slieve was only narrowly denied from his current mark of 80 at Newcastle in March, beaten a nose by Pixie Diva on that occasion, and has put in two decent efforts since, particularly when beaten only a length-and-a-quarter by Vantheman at Hamilton when last seen.
He's only 1lb higher than his previous win at Ayr last summer, when dominating by three-and-a-quarter-lengths as the 9/43.25 favourite, therefore should hold a strong chance at the weights following a promising effort.
In the hands of Shane Gray, the five-year-old gelding is one to note and could be capable of a bold effort.

Seven-year-old gelding Iamagetaway was disappointing as the 11/43.75 favourite at Killarney when last seen, but it was a run worth putting a line through considering his previous promising effort. If able to return to that level of form, when over a similar distance at this venue in his penultimate start, the Gordon Elliott-trained contender should be able to pose a threat and could be worth keeping the faith in.
His sole career win so far came in a Limerick maiden hurdle when representing one of his former trainers James Andrew Fahey. Despite being winless since the autumn of 2024, the son of Getaway has been able to put in a couple of competitive efforts although he has lacked consistency. He has shaped with promise on occasion and, having shown he still possesses plenty of ability on yard debut last month, may be a horse to keep onside in future outings.

Five-year-old mare Cabrera made a promising return to action following a 329-day absence at Newcastle in March, finishing fourth at odds of 16/117.00 over the extended mile-and-a-half on that occasion. She made only one appearance last season, when fifth at Ripon to Knightswood, but had shown a good level of form previously and appeared progressive.
Now 3lb lower than when narrowly denied in a Doncaster handicap during her debut campaign, the daughter of Phoenix Of Spain is well treated at the best of her ability and remains open to further improvement still in only her 11th start. She's entitled to come on for her latest outing and this could be the time to catch her.

Another filly worth considering for the Ed Bethell and Callum Rodriguez partnership is Fluorescence.
The daughter of Twilight Son makes her seasonal reappearance in this contest but has won twice when fresh previously, and could make a winning return. She's three from seven in her career to date and is 4lb higher than her latest win, but has the scope for further improvement, yet to be exposed.
When last seen, the four-year-old filly finished a good fourth to her stablemate Azure Angel at odds of 25/126.00 in a competitive Southwell handicap. She has performed well at this level in the past and could be capable of a big performance on her return.

Mountain Road spent 582 days off track before returning at Musselburgh last month. He has achieved form figures of 435 in three runs so far this term, proving he still retains ability, and could be capable of taking another step forward in this contest.
Stepping back up to the two mile distance, the seven-year-old is 4lb below his last winning mark, making appeal at the weights if at his best. He has shaped with promise in recent runs and the return to a further trip could suit, making him one to note for in-form trainer Jim Goldie.

Winless since her shock debut success at odds of 125/1126.00 in 2024, Perfect Part has put in a number of excellent efforts since but has often been luckless, particularly since going down the handicap route. Things haven't quite gone her way in handicaps as of yet, but she is on a mark of 85 which could prove lenient as she drops back down in class.
Having performed well at Stakes level previously, the daughter of Mehmas has shown a high level of ability and has been competitive in handicaps from a much higher rating in the past too. She may be worth keeping the faith in on the back of a promising effort over 7f here, with the step up to a mile likely to benefit her.
