Four-year-old gelding West Tyrone makes his second start for Lizzie Quinlan having left the Kevin Ryan yard for whom he recorded a sole success at Southwell last spring when rated 1lb higher. He was able to make the frame on a couple of occasions following his maiden victory, including when second to Redarna at odds of 14/115.00 at Ayr in his penultimate start last September.
From a workable rating here and having had a recent run this term, the son of Zarak could be able to fare better than in his latest outing and put in a competitive performance under Andrew Mullen. He has proven form over the distance and is one to note each-way.

Favourite See The Fire will likely be tough to beat in this Listed contest, with solid Group One form to her name, 14lb clear of the field on ratings, but unexposed filly That's Amore could be one to fill the second-place spot, possibly representing some value at double-figure odds.
The Ralph Beckett-trained filly has been seen only three times to date. She made a winning start in testing conditions at Newbury, impressing to land her maiden on debut by six-lengths, before managing only fourth to Minnie Hauk in the Cheshire Oaks last year, shaping well for a long way on her return from a 193-day break.
Absent for 301 days before returning to action last month, winning by a length in a novice event at Southwell, That's Amore could take a significant step forward from her reappearance and should be capable of proving better than her current rating of 90 reflects. Her brother Persica is rated 112 having won a couple of Group Three prizes, whilst their dam Rubira once finished fifth to the brilliant Verry Elleegant in a Caulfield Group Three.
The best is likely yet to come from That's Amore, who is lightly raced and capable of showing further progression in the hands of Rossa Ryan.

Anthony McCann-trained Little Empire is one to note from a mark of 82 with 5lb claimer Patrick McGettigan in the plate.
The six-year-old is on a workable mark and has been running consistently well over the past year, failing to make the first three on only two occasions when still emerging with credit. He's 8lb higher than his last success but has been competitive from his current rating in recent outings, including when narrowly denied by Benacre at Newcastle in his penultimate start.
There's substance to some of his form and he's a likeable contender, who could be overlooked at his current odds.

Seven-year-old mare Whimsy is another Anthony McCann-trained contender to consider on Sunday. She's a likeable performer and has winning form on the Flat, lining up in this contest following a creditable effort in third to Holy See at Gowran Park earlier this month.
On a workable mark of 75 under 5lb claiming Patrick McGettigan, Whimsy has enough ability to put in a bold bid and pose a threat as she seeks a fifth career win in this staying contest. She has shown to possess talent over obstacles as well as on the Flat, and was able to finish a brilliant third to Leinster, now rated 105, when in receipt of 4lb at the Curragh last spring from a mark of 78.

Simple Star is one to note at a price in the staying contest, only 4lb higher than his last success with course form in his favour. He's back up in trip but has made the frame from a higher mark over an extra two furlongs at this venue previously, which should hold him in good stead.
Having had the benefit of a recent run, Simple Star shouldn't be discounted at a price. The son of Sea The Stars has plenty of experience in his favour and is well treated at the weights and, although he may be vulnerable to a younger improver, he remains capable of a bold showing on his day and could make his presence felt under Jason Hart.

In the Musselburgh finale on Sunday, Pop Star could be capable of a better showing than in his latest outings, now down to a low mark of 66. He's 4lb lower rated than his latest win, and is 14lb lower than when performing with credit for former trainer Alice Haynes at Doncaster during the summer.
Whilst he needs to show he still retains plenty of ability, the six-year-old son of Sioux Nation has struggled to get into a position from which he can really threaten so far this season and, if able to enjoy a favourable trip, should be able to show improvement.
It could prove worth keeping the faith in the Iain Jardine-trained gelding, who has been able to perform from a higher rating over the past year and is given a chance of showing a resurgence in form at the weights.
