Warwick, 13:40 - Back Mo Ghille Mar E/W @ 16/117.00

Five-year-old mare Mo Ghille Mar is an interesting contender in Warwick's opener on Sunday under Paddy Hanlon. The Irish-raider, representing Shark Hanlon, is still bidding for a first win over hurdles to add to her trio of successes on the Flat for former trainer Jessica Harrington.

She has shown a decent level of ability on the Flat previously, including when narrowly denied by Gibbs Island in a Curragh maiden before shedding her maiden tag at Navan.

Rated as high as 92 on the Flat, the daughter of Zoffany has shown some potential over obstacles to date. She was far from disgraced behind Be Fiere at Punchestown when last seen, and could be worth keeping the faith in as she heads across the Irish Sea for the first time since lining up in the Melrose Handicap at York's 2024 Ebor Festival.

Naas, 14:00 - Back Colcannon @ 2/13.00

Noel Meade-trained Colcannon has shown great promise in bumpers prior to this term, finishing third to Shuttle Diplomacy on debut before chasing home Sixandahalf then officially getting off the mark when inflicting defeat upon subsequent Champion Bumper second Heads Up at Ballybrit.

The son of Berkshire went on to claim Grade Two success at Leopardstown, beating a good field which included Sortudo and subsequent Aintree bumper winner Green Splendour at the Dublin Racing Festival, before finishing third to Bambino Fever in a Punchestown Grade One.

This term, Colcannon has failed to land a hurdling success in two starts, finishing second to Koktail Brut on hurdling debut in November, before managing only sixth at Navan behind Road Exile when last seen. He could make it third time lucky in this contest, returning after a mid-season break under Sam Ewing.

The six-year-old is yet to put his best foot forward over obstacles, but, considering the ability he has shown previously, he may be able to keep on improving his jumping as he gains experience. The talent is there, and, with a favourable trip, he may finally get off the mark.

Naas, 15:30 - Back Catch The Beast E/W @ 7/18.00

Walk In The Park gelding Catch The Beast finished a brilliant second at Naas when last seen, outrunning odds of 28/129.00 to make the frame behind Give Him A Chance. He improved plenty on his pulled up effort at Navan where he did have some excuses, returning to form in good fashion.

The Edward Cawley-trained had previously finished a decent sixth to Letos in a first-time tongue-tie in Listed company in November. He has been running quite well at this track in recent appearances, and could be worth keeping onside under Philip Byrnes.

A likeable performer, the eight-year-old is up 3lb for his recent runner-up effort but that may not be enough to deter him and he holds strong each-way claims this time around, too. On the back of a promising effort, Catch The Beast could be ready for a return to the winners' enclosure and this could be his time to strike.

Naas, 16:02 - Back Ballybow E/W @ 12/113.00

Seven-year-old gelding Ballybow has been in the tracker a while, and this could be his time to strike now in handicap company over fences for the first time.

The son of Flemensfirth won a Grade Three over hurdles last term, beating Ballygunner Castle at Clonmel, following a maiden success over Kalix Delabarriere at Naas. He had previously finished second to Air Of Entitlement at Down Royal, the form of which was subsequently franked by the future Cheltenham Festival winner.

There's substance to his form over hurdles and he's been gaining valuable experience over fences so far this term in behind the likes of Kopek Des Bordes and Predators Gold. He's yet to fire over the larger obstacles, but put in an improved performance in first-time blinkers when last seen and could find more luck in this sphere.

Carrying a low weight from a mark of 126 under 5lb claimer Josh Williamson, Ballybow makes plenty of appeal at the weights and warrants consideration for Gordon Elliott.

Naas, 16:02 - Back Chosen Witness E/W @ 18/119.00

Chosen Witness is another contender to consider each-way in this competitive Listed handicap chase. He's another carrying a low weight from a mark of 129 with 7lb claimer Sean Cleary-Farrell in the saddle, 1lb lower than his previous win over hurdles in an extended three mile contest at Ayr.

Despite being unable to strike since then, and yet to get off the mark over the larger obstacles for Willie Mullins, the lightly raced nine-year-old, who makes only his eighth start over fences, has caught the eye on occasion, including when a decent third to Champ Kiely at Fairyhouse. The best could be yet to come from the point winner, who does need to show significant improvement but may be worth following, in slightly calmer waters and softer conditions here.
