Naas, 13:55 - Back Did I Ask You That @ 13/27.50

Eight-year-old gelding Did I Ask You That could strike at the fourth time of asking over obstacles and bounce back from a disappointing effort at Tramore where he was a 11/82.38 favourite on New Year's Day.

The son of Walk In The Park was travelling well on his return from a 364-day break at Punchestown in November, before slipping up coming around the home turn. Things haven't quite worked out so far this term, but it could be worth keeping the faith in the gelding who had shaped with promise in bumpers and on hurdling debut previously.

The Willie Mullins-trained contender was only narrowly denied on debut in a Leopardstown bumper by Pour Les Filles, now rated 134, with now 133-rated Park Of Kings further behind. He was absent for 84 days following that effort, returning with a six-length fourth to Farren Glory at Navan, before failing to make an impression at Punchestown.

Absent for 576 days subsequently, Did I Ask You That returned with a third-placed finish behind The Big Westerner, with the promising Argento Boy in second, and Son Of Anarchy and Springt De La Mare in fourth and fifth respectively.

The winner has since landed Grade Two honours over both hurdles and fences, and chased home Jasmin De Vaux in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

There's substance to Did I Ask You That's form and it would be a surprise if the best isn't yet to come from him. He has shaped with promise and could finally get his career back on track by landing an overdue success in this maiden hurdle.

Naas, 14:25 - Back Beyond Your Dreams @ 16/117.00

Five-year-old mare Beyond Your Dreams shaped with promise as a youngster for Joseph O'Brien, winning on the Flat at Listowel before beating now 125-rated Slurricane in a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle.

She was only just denied in two hurdle outings before making it third time lucky over obstacles, including when half-a-length behind Total Look at Navan where she finished four-lengths ahead of third-placed Wendrock.

Sent off at odds of 13/27.50 for the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival, Beyond Your Dreams could only manage ninth in first-time cheekpieces in a race won by her stablemate Puturhandstogether, who also represented owner JP McManus.

The daughter of Fastnet Rock wasn't disgraced, beaten ten-lengths in the end, but has struggled for form since, failing to make a significant impression in her last two starts for Carriganóg Racing, now based with Padraig Roche. She didn't make any impression on yard debut but could come on for that outing.

It's too early to give up on a mare who does possess ability on a going day, and this could be a nice opportunity for her to return to some form in the hand of Mark Walsh.

Naas, 15:25 - Back Argento Boy @ 10/34.33

Willie Mullins-trained Argento Boy landed the spoils in an eventful Punchestown Chase on New Year's Eve in which the two main protagonists both departed at the fourth last, 6/52.20 favourite Slade Steel and 15/82.88 chance Ballygunner Castle. The grey gelding stayed on well to eventually prevail by five-and-a-half-lengths over Pray Tell, and can kick on following that success.

The seven-year-old, who is a half-brother to Champion Bumper winner Briar Hill, had landed a first success in convincing fashion, beating Born Braver by seven-lengths on bumper debut at Fairyhouse. He couldn't make an impression in two subsequent Grade One bumpers but returned to form with a second-placed effort behind The Big Westerner last term on hurdling debut, before winning his maiden by 15-lengths.

Likely to be suited by the softer conditions at Naas, Argento Boy should have the ability to put in a bold bid in this Grade Three event. He's entitled to show further progression in only his third chasing start, and remains a promising prospect for the Closutton yard.
